  1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assess heart function and diagnose cardiac conditions.
  2. Utilize knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret and analyze ultrasound images.
  3. Ensure proper and safe use of equipment and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to provide a positive and comfortable experience.
  5. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  8. Keep up-to-date with new developments and advancements in cardiac sonography.
  9. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  11. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
  12. Educate patients about their procedures and answer any questions they may have.
  13. Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  14. Meet productivity and efficiency goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
  15. Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training.
  16. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  17. Take initiative to identify and address any patient or equipment issues.
  18. Collaborate with physicians to provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
  19. Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as required.
  20. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and management.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Certification As A Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Cardiac Sonography In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Proficiency In Using State-Of-The-Art Ultrasound Equipment And Technologies, Including 3D/4D Imaging, Transesophageal Echocardiography, And Stress Echocardiography.

  • Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Advanced Imaging Techniques Related To The Heart And Vascular System.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cardiologists, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment.
