Job Description

  1. Perform radiographic procedures: Conduct a variety of diagnostic imaging exams, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety: Greet patients, explain procedures, and address any concerns or questions. Position patients correctly and use shielding techniques to protect them from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  3. Operate and maintain equipment: Operate radiographic equipment and accessories, including adjusting settings, positioning patients, and maintaining safety protocols. Troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results. Communicate effectively and collaborate on patient care plans.
  5. Maintain accurate records: Document patient information, procedure details, and any other relevant data in electronic medical records. Ensure proper identification and labeling of images for accurate interpretation and diagnosis.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols: Follow all safety regulations and protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from radiation exposure. Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize potential hazards.
  7. Continuously improve skills and knowledge: Stay updated on new techniques and advancements in radiology technology. Attend training and educational opportunities to enhance skills and maintain licensure.
  8. Practice professionalism: Provide compassionate and respectful care to all patients. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients And Healthcare Team Members In A Professional And Compassionate Manner.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.

  • Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Program.

  • Valid Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Familiarity With Radiologic Equipment And Procedures, Including X-Rays, Computed Tomography (Ct), And Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri).
