Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to administer radiation therapy to patients with cancer and other diseases. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.   1. Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients receiving radiation therapy.
  2. Administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' response to treatment, making adjustments as needed.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.
  6. Educate patients and their families about radiation therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care strategies.
  7. Ensure the safety of patients and staff by following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
  8. Keep up-to-date with current trends and advancements in radiation therapy techniques and technology.
  9. Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  10. Demonstrate a compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and their families.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
  12. Maintain professional development by attending trainings, conferences, and other educational opportunities.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by actively contributing to team meetings and discussions.
  14. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the overall mission and goals of the healthcare organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiation Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Program.

  • Valid And Current Certification In Radiation Therapy From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Radiation Therapist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Radiation Therapy Treatment Planning, Delivery Techniques, And Equipment Operation.
