Conduct thorough investigations: The Public Safety Investigator will be responsible for conducting investigations into incidents and potential threats to the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors at Piedmont Healthcare. This will involve gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing information to determine the cause of the incident.
  2. Ensure compliance with safety protocols: The Public Safety Investigator will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are being followed at Piedmont Healthcare facilities. This may include conducting audits and inspections to identify potential safety hazards and developing recommendations for improvements.
  3. Monitor security systems: The Public Safety Investigator will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining security systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems.   4. Collaborate with law enforcement: The Public Safety Investigator will work closely with local law enforcement agencies to report incidents, provide evidence, and assist with any investigations. Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Law Enforcement Or Investigative Work: A Public Safety Investigator At Piedmont Healthcare Must Have A Strong Background In Law Enforcement Or Investigative Work In Order To Effectively Handle And Resolve Complex Safety And Security Issues Within The Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Protocols: In Order To Effectively Investigate Incidents And Ensure Compliance With Healthcare Regulations, A Public Safety Investigator Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Regulations And Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Public Safety Investigator, You Will Be Interacting With A Wide Range Of Individuals, Including Patients, Staff, And Law Enforcement Officials. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Vital For Building Relationships And Effectively Gathering Information.
