- Conduct thorough investigations: The Public Safety Investigator will be responsible for conducting investigations into incidents and potential threats to the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors at Piedmont Healthcare. This will involve gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing information to determine the cause of the incident.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols: The Public Safety Investigator will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are being followed at Piedmont Healthcare facilities. This may include conducting audits and inspections to identify potential safety hazards and developing recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor security systems: The Public Safety Investigator will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining security systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems. They will also be responsible for responding to any system malfunctions or alarms in a timely and efficient manner.
