  1. Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from various locations within the facility, including exam rooms, diagnostic imaging areas, and other treatment areas.
  2. Assist patients in and out of wheelchairs and stretchers, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear instructions and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work space, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored and ready for use.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to prioritize and coordinate patient transport requests.
  6. Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene and personal protective equipment usage.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  9. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, anticipating their needs and responding promptly and professionally.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve job skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Patient Transporter I Position At Piedmont Healthcare Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge To Perform The Job Duties Effectively.
