1. Safely transport patients to and from various locations within the healthcare facility, including hospital rooms, testing areas, and treatment rooms.
2. Ensure the timely and efficient transportation of patients by following designated schedules and responding promptly to urgent requests.
3. Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide exceptional customer service to patients, their families, and other healthcare staff.
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures while transporting patients, including proper hand hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment.
5. Assist patients with getting in and out of wheelchairs, stretchers, or other modes of transportation, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
6. Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient transportation and address any concerns or special requests.
7. Keep accurate records of patient transportation, including the time, location, and type of transportation provided.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage and disinfection of wheelchairs and other transportation equipment.
