  1. Educate and guide patients on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create personalized nutrition plans for patients.
  3. Conduct individual and group nutrition education sessions.
  4. Monitor and track patients' progress towards achieving their nutrition goals.
  5. Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and guidelines to provide the most current information to patients.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to promote healthy eating habits and overall wellness.
  7. Serve as a resource for patients and staff regarding nutrition-related questions and concerns.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress.
  9. Conduct regular assessments of patients' nutritional needs and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans.
  10. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and provide input on nutrition-related matters.
  11. Build and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families.
  12. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  13. Attend trainings and conferences to continuously improve knowledge and skills in the field of nutrition.
  14. Keep up-to-date with insurance policies and procedures related to nutrition and billing.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  16. Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
  17. Act as an advocate for healthy eating and wellness within the community.
  18. Continuously seek ways to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  19. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote a holistic approach to patient care.
  20. Uphold the mission and values of Piedmont Healthcare in all interactions and duties.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Nutrition-Related Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Counsel Patients On Nutrition Principles.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Ability To Interpret And Analyze Patient Medical Records.

  • Certification As A Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietetic Technician (Dtr) From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).
