  1. Register and admit patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  3. Explain and obtain necessary patient information and signatures.
  4. Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  8. Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  9. Handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and efficiency.
  10. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  11. Utilize electronic health records and other software systems accurately and efficiently.
  12. Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient services.
  13. Educate patients on payment options and assist with financial arrangements.
  14. Keep accurate records and documentation of patient interactions.
  15. Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on healthcare regulations and procedures.
  16. Provide support to other team members as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Patient Access Associate At Piedmont Healthcare In Snellville Is Required To Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
