We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Access Associate for our night shift. As a Patient Access Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients have a seamless and positive experience from the moment they enter our facility. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.   1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff with a warm and friendly attitude.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patients' needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Verify patient information and insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing and timely payment.
  4. Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and admissions.
  5. Collect and process patient payments and provide financial counseling when necessary.
  6. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
  7. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to create a positive environment for patients and staff.
  11. Stay updated on hospital policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to patients.
  12. Keep track of patient schedules and communicate any changes or delays to appropriate parties.
  13. Handle and resolve patient complaints or issues with empathy and a customer-focused approach.
  14. Train and mentor new Patient Access team members as needed.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance patient experience.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Patient Access Associate Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Essential For A Patient Access Associate To Accurately Record Patient Information And Communicate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
