  1. Perform blood draws and collect specimens from patients in an outpatient setting.
  2. Adhere to established safety protocols and ensure proper handling and disposal of specimens.
  3. Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens.
  4. Maintain strict confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines in all interactions with patients and their information.
  5. Interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner, providing a welcoming and comforting experience.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies and equipment.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely collection of specimens.
  8. Follow proper documentation procedures and accurately record all necessary information.
  9. Communicate any issues or concerns with specimens to the appropriate healthcare staff.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service and address any patient concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
  14. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance patient experience and overall quality of service.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Phlebotomy Training Program.

  • Current Certification As A Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) By A Recognized Agency (E.g. Ascp, Nha, Amt).

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist In An Outpatient Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Standard Safety Procedures And Infection Control Practices In Relation To Phlebotomy.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients In A Compassionate And Professional Manner.
