1. Collect blood specimens from patients in outpatient facilities using proper phlebotomy techniques.
2. Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection, labeling, and handling.
3. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.
4. Accurately record patient information and specimen data.
5. Communicate with patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
7. Monitor and maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies.
8. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
9. Continuously update knowledge and skills through continuing education and training.
