Nursing Administrative Supervisor

1. Oversee and manage daily operations of the nursing department to ensure efficient and effective performance.
2. Monitor and maintain staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and appropriate skill mix.
3. Provide guidance, support, and direction to nursing staff, including but not limited to scheduling, training, and performance management.
4. Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure coordination and integration of patient care services.
5. Conduct regular rounds on nursing units to assess patient care, identify any potential issues, and address them in a timely manner.
6. Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in handling difficult situations and making critical decisions.
7. Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
8. Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to nursing services.
9. Facilitate effective communication between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members to promote optimal patient outcomes.
10. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and lead quality improvement projects within the nursing department.
11. Maintain a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect among all staff members.
12. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in healthcare to continuously improve nursing services.
13. Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to develop and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
14. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and upper management, communicating any concerns or issues and providing recommendations for improvement.
15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Nursing or other members of the leadership team.
