- Educate patients and their families on the purpose and process of neurophysiological testing, and provide support and reassurance during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all neurophysiological tests and procedures performed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in neurophysiology technology and techniques, and incorporate them into daily practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of neurophysiological testing.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment by communicating effectively with team members and promoting a patient-centered approach to care.
Bachelor's Degree In Neurophysiology, Neuroscience, Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.eeg.t) Or Equivalent.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Neurophysiology Technician, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Neurophysiology Testing Equipment And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
