High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Monitor Technician At Piedmont Healthcare Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Understanding Of Medical Terminology.
Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls): As A Monitor Technician, It Is Essential To Have The Knowledge And Skills To Respond To Emergency Situations. A Bls Certification Demonstrates The Individual's Ability To Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Cpr) And Other Life-Saving Techniques.
Proficiency In Ecg Interpretation: A Monitor Technician Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Electrocardiograms (Ecg) And Be Able To Accurately Interpret Them. This Skill Is Crucial In Detecting And Reporting Any Abnormalities In A Patient's Heart Rhythm.
