  1. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms in patients using specialized equipment.
  2. Provide prompt and accurate updates to the medical staff regarding any changes in patient's cardiac status.
  3. Ensure proper functioning and calibration of monitoring equipment.
  4. Document all cardiac rhythm findings in patient's medical records.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  6. Recognize and report any abnormal cardiac rhythms to the medical staff.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding their cardiac monitoring.
  10. Attend and participate in all required training and educational programs.
  11. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  12. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate department.
  13. Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or medical staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Formal Training Program In Cardiac Monitoring Or Electrocardiography

  • Certification As A Certified Cardiographic Technician (Cct) Or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (Crat)

  • Proficiency In Interpreting And Identifying Cardiac Rhythms, Arrhythmias, And Irregularities

  • Familiarity With Medical Terminology And Ability To Accurately Document And Report Cardiac Events

  • Experience Using Cardiac Monitoring Equipment, Such As Telemetry Units And Central Monitoring Systems
