- Oversee supply chain operations at the Henry location, including inventory management, vendor relationships, and budget management.
- Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available for patient care, while also maintaining cost-effective practices.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure supply chain needs are met and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to avoid stock shortages or excess.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms for supplies and equipment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in supply chain management to make informed decisions.
- Create and maintain reports on supply chain performance and present findings to upper management.
- Train and mentor supply chain staff to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget for the Henry location.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to supply chain management.
- Work with the healthcare team to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Resolve any supply chain issues or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
- Promote a positive work environment by fostering open communication and teamwork within the supply chain team.
- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adhere to Piedmont Healthcare's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of the role.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Act as a liaison between the supply chain team and other departments within the organization.
- Participate in meetings and trainings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management And Procurement Processes.
