  1. Provide direct care and support to patients with mental health needs.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' mental and emotional well-being.
  3. Administer and track medication as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Implement and assist with treatment plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
  5. Observe and report any changes in patients' behavior or condition to the appropriate healthcare team members.
  6. Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  7. Foster a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  10. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
  11. Participate in therapeutic activities and group sessions with patients.
  12. Adhere to all safety and healthcare regulations and protocols.
  13. Attend trainings and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in mental health care.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and their families.
  15. Act as an advocate for patients and their needs.
  16. Respond to emergency situations and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  17. Assist in discharge planning and follow-up care for patients.
  18. Collaborate with community resources to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  19. Keep abreast of current trends and developments in the field of mental health.
  20. Uphold the values and mission of Piedmont Healthcare in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Mental Health Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Weekends And Holidays.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Individuals From Diverse Backgrounds And Handle Sensitive Situations.
