  1. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all HVAC systems throughout the facility.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair any issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs completed, including dates, materials used, and any other relevant information.
  4. Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels for HVAC parts and equipment.
  5. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance in all maintenance and repair work.
  6. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and address any urgent HVAC issues to minimize disruption to patient care and operations.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and staff to identify and resolve any HVAC-related issues or concerns.
  8. Install new HVAC systems and components as needed, ensuring they meet all safety and quality standards.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  10. Assist in developing and implementing long-term maintenance plans for HVAC systems.
  11. Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and other staff to provide updates on maintenance and repair work.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimize HVAC systems and processes.
  13. Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  14. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including safety protocols, code of conduct, and ethical standards.
  15. Attend trainings and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in HVAC maintenance and repair.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Hvac Maintenance: This Position At Piedmont Healthcare Requires A Candidate Who Has A Proven Track Record In Hvac Maintenance. A Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In This Field Will Demonstrate The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Effectively Perform The Job Duties.

  • Hvac Certification Or Relevant Degree: A Qualified Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Certification In Hvac Maintenance Or A Related Degree. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Formal Education And Training In This Field And Is Up-To-Date With The Latest Industry Standards.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Maintenance Technician - Hvac At Piedmont Healthcare, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Issues With Hvac Systems. Therefore, It Is Important That The Candidate Has Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Address Any Maintenance Needs.

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes And Safety Regulations: In Order To Maintain A Safe And Functional Environment, The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Building Codes And Safety Regulations Pertaining To Hvac Maintenance. This Includes Knowledge Of Osha Guidelines And Fire Safety Regulations.

  • Ability To Work Independently And In A Team: This Position Requires The Candidate To Work Independently And Collaboratively With A Team. The Candidate Should Be Able To Manage Their Own Workload And Prioritize Tasks, While Also Being Able To Communicate And Work Effectively With Others To Complete Larger Maintenance Projects.
