Job Description

As a Maintenance Tech Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.   1. Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair any electrical issues that may arise in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Perform regular inspections of the facility to identify potential electrical hazards and address them promptly.
  4. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and equipment.
  5. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure all systems are working together effectively.
  6. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including any necessary documentation for regulatory compliance.
  7. Respond to emergency calls and requests for repairs in a timely manner.
  8. Monitor and maintain inventory of electrical supplies and equipment, and communicate any needs to management.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  10. Continuously look for ways to improve and optimize the electrical systems to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  11. Communicate effectively with other departments and team members to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruptions.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for electrical maintenance and repair.
  13. Train and mentor new maintenance team members as needed.
  14. Collaborate with outside contractors or vendors as needed for specialized repairs or projects.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while representing Piedmont Healthcare.

Job Qualifications
  • Electrical Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid Electrical Certification From A Recognized Institution. This Certification Demonstrates The Individual's Knowledge And Experience In Electrical Systems And Safety.

  • Experience In Healthcare Facilities: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Facility Or Similar Environment Is Preferred. This Experience Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Unique Electrical Needs And Regulations Specific To Healthcare Settings.

  • Troubleshooting Skills: The Maintenance Tech Electrician Should Have Strong Troubleshooting Skills To Identify And Resolve Electrical Issues Quickly And Efficiently. This Includes The Ability To Read And Interpret Electrical Schematics And Diagrams.

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Building Codes And Regulations Related To Electrical Systems. This Is Essential To Ensure Compliance And Maintain A Safe Working Environment.

  • Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Job May Require The Candidate To Work In Confined Spaces, Climb Ladders, And Lift Heavy Equipment. Therefore, The Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Have The Stamina To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
