Job Description

As a Maintenance Tech Electrician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment, and providing support for various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for providing quality service.   1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all electrical systems within the Piedmont Healthcare facilities.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  3. Repair and replace faulty electrical components, such as wires, switches, and outlets.
  4. Install new electrical systems and equipment as needed.
  5. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols while working on electrical systems.
  6. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  7. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects.
  8. Provide support for various projects, including renovations, upgrades, and expansions.
  9. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other staff members.
  10. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of electrical systems.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  12. Respond to emergency calls and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  13. Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 Years Of Experience In Electrical Maintenance And Repair Work In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of National Electric Code (Nec) And Other Relevant Codes And Regulations.

  • Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Complex Electrical Systems And Equipment.

  • Experience With Preventive Maintenance And Inspection Of Electrical Systems.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Other Maintenance Staff And Healthcare Professionals.
