- Provide compassionate and quality care to patients in our Primary Care department.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician.
- Assist with procedures and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

Valid Lpn License: The First And Most Important Qualification For This Job Is A Valid Lpn License. This Certification Is Obtained By Completing An Accredited Nursing Program And Passing The National Council Licensure Examination (Nclex-Pn).
Prior Experience In Primary Care: Lpns Applying For A Primary Care Position At Piedmont Healthcare Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Primary Care Setting. This Experience Will Ensure That The Nurse Is Familiar With The Specific Needs And Responsibilities Of This Type Of Healthcare Environment.
Excellent Communication Skills: Lpns Must Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Being Able To Listen Actively, Provide Clear Instructions, And Document Information Accurately.
Knowledge Of Medical Procedures And Equipment: A Successful Lpn In Primary Care Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Procedures And Equipment Commonly Used In This Setting. This Includes Administering Medications, Performing Basic Lab Tests, And Operating Medical Equipment Such As Blood Pressure Monitors And Ekg Machines.
Compassion And Empathy: Working In Primary Care Often Involves Caring For Patients With Chronic Illnesses Or Complex Medical Needs. The Ideal Lpn For This Job Should Have A Compassionate And Empathetic Nature To Provide Emotional Support And Help Patients Cope With Their Health Challenges.
