  1. Perform and oversee ultrasound procedures with accuracy and precision.
  2. Manage and lead a team of ultrasound technicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment for patients and staff.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
  5. Educate and train new ultrasound technicians on proper technique, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
  6. Keep accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including images and reports.
  7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate results.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques and incorporate them into the department's practices.
  9. Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  11. Manage inventory and supplies for the ultrasound department.
  12. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  14. Participate in departmental meetings and assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  15. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and performance evaluations.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field From An Accredited Program.

  • Certification: Must Be Registered By The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) In At Least One Specialty Area (Ab, Ob/Gyn, Or Rvt).

  • Experience: At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience As An Ultrasound Technician With Proven Leadership Abilities.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient In Operating And Maintaining Ultrasound Equipment, As Well As Advanced Knowledge Of Ultrasound Techniques And Protocols.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Mentor A Team Of Ultrasound Technicians.
