1. Provide exceptional respiratory care to patients using evidence-based practices and protocols.
2. Lead and mentor a team of respiratory therapists, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
3. Ensure the highest quality of care by monitoring and evaluating the performance of the respiratory therapy team.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
5. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in respiratory therapy practices and equipment.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
7. Participate in the training and orientation of new respiratory therapy team members.
8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to respiratory therapy.
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the respiratory therapy program.
10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
11. Manage and maintain equipment and supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.
12. Provide support and assistance to other healthcare team members as needed.
13. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations as required.
