- Oversee and lead a team of nuclear medicine technologists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including diagnostic imaging, therapeutic treatments, and radiopharmaceutical administration.
- Operate and maintain complex nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras, PET scanners, and SPECT/CT machines.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of imaging and treatment procedures, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including proper handling and disposal of radioactive materials.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures and patient information.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and procedures, implementing new techniques and protocols as needed.
- Train new technologists and provide ongoing education and training for current staff to ensure competency and adherence to best practices.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among all members of the healthcare team.
Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field.
Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb).
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Nuclear Medicine Procedures, Equipment, And Radiation Safety Protocols.
Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Technologists.
