  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the MRI/CT department, including scheduling, staffing, and equipment maintenance.
  2. Ensure that all MRI/CT procedures are performed accurately, efficiently, and with the highest level of patient care.
  3. Train and mentor new MRI/CT technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of MRI/CT images.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and technological advancements in the field of diagnostic imaging, and implement changes as needed.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  7. Monitor and manage inventory levels of MRI/CT supplies and equipment, ordering new items as needed.
  8. Develop and implement quality assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the MRI/CT department and other departments within the healthcare facility, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  10. Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and compassionate manner.
  11. Conduct performance evaluations for MRI/CT technicians and provide feedback for improvement.
  12. Participate in budget planning and monitor department expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  13. Act as a role model for the MRI/CT team, promoting a positive and respectful work culture.
  14. Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to MRI/CT services.
  15. Ensure adherence to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As An Mri/Ct Technician In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating Various Mri And Ct Imaging Equipment And Software.

  • Current Certification In Mri And Ct By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Technicians.

  • Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Critical Thinking Abilities To Ensure Accurate And Timely Imaging Services For Patients.
