As a Lead Lab Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory operations.   1. Oversee laboratory operations during night shift, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
  2. Train and supervise a team of lab assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Perform and assist with laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records, including test results and quality control data.
  6. Communicate and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate patient care.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues that may arise during the night shift.
  8. Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control measures to ensure accurate test results.
  9. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in laboratory technology and processes.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
  11. Model and promote a positive and collaborative work culture within the laboratory team.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve laboratory processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to maintain knowledge and skills.
  14. Serve as a resource for laboratory staff, providing support and guidance as needed.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment to ensure safety and compliance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience As A Lab Assistant, Preferably In A Leadership Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures And Equipment, Including Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving.

  • Ability To Work Night Shifts And Weekends, As Well As Handle High-Stress Situations And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
