  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment and techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely imaging results for patient care.
  3. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following infection control procedures and equipment maintenance protocols.
  4. Educate and communicate with patients about the imaging procedures to ensure their comfort and understanding.
  5. Monitor patient vitals and respond to any adverse reactions or complications during procedures.
  6. Follow established protocols and guidelines for radiation safety to protect patients, staff, and self from potential harm.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including imaging results and patient information.
  8. Stay updated on the latest technology and techniques in the field of interventional radiology to provide the best possible patient care.
  9. Assist in the training and supervision of new IR technologists and students.
  10. Collaborate with physicians to determine the appropriate imaging procedures for each patient and assist in the preparation and administration of contrast materials.
  11. Adhere to all policies and procedures set by the facility and regulatory bodies.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  14. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor towards patients, families, and coworkers.
  15. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and other educational opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiography, Medical Imaging, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certified And Registered In Radiography By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Interventional Radiology, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Current Imaging Equipment And Techniques, As Well As Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Various Imaging Systems.
