- Perform immunohistochemistry procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Ensure all procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Prepare and maintain reagents and solutions used in immunohistochemistry procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all procedures performed and results obtained.
- Collaborate with other members of the pathology team to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to ensure a well-stocked laboratory.
- Stay updated on current trends and advancements in immunohistochemistry techniques and technologies.
- Assist in training and mentoring new technicians and interns.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors regarding any issues or concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory results.
- Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to optimize laboratory procedures and efficiency.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and educational workshops.
- Provide exceptional patient care and service by ensuring accurate and timely results.
Bachelor's Degree In Biology, Chemistry, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Immunohistochemistry Techniques.
Certification As A Histotechnician (Ht) Or Histotechnologist (Htl) From The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).
Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Procedures.
Ability To Accurately Interpret And Analyze Immunohistochemistry Results.
