We are currently seeking a friendly and customer-service oriented individual to join our team as a Gift Shop Associate at our hospital location. As a Gift Shop Associate, you will have the opportunity to interact with our patients, visitors, and staff while assisting them in finding the perfect gift or item for their loved ones. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.   1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers in finding and purchasing gifts or other items.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized gift shop, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
  5. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  6. Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely delivery of gifts to patients.
  7. Keep track of inventory and place orders when necessary.
  8. Stay informed about the products and services offered in the gift shop to provide accurate information to customers.
  9. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  10. Maintain knowledge of hospital policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the gift shop's operations and customer service.
  12. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  13. Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
  14. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, staff, and vendors.
  15. Represent Piedmont Healthcare in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Education Level Is Required For This Position To Accurately Handle Cash Transactions And Communicate With Customers.

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role Is Preferred, As The Gift Shop Associate Will Be Interacting With Patients, Visitors, And Hospital Staff On A Daily Basis.

  • Cash Handling Skills: The Ability To Accurately Handle Cash Transactions, Count Change, And Balance A Cash Register Is Crucial For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Gift Shop Inventory: Familiarity With Gift Shop Merchandise And Inventory Management Is Desired To Help With Restocking, Pricing, And Ordering New Items.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Gift Shop Associate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Co-Workers, And Hospital Staff In A Professional And Friendly Manner.
