1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
2. Provide knowledgeable and helpful recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
3. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system.
4. Maintain a clean and organized gift shop by regularly restocking shelves, dusting and organizing displays.
5. Ensure that all merchandise is correctly priced and labeled.
6. Assist with receiving and unpacking new merchandise, checking for accuracy and quality.
7. Monitor inventory levels and inform management of any low or out-of-stock items.
8. Keep track of daily sales and report any discrepancies to management.
9. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
10. Collaborate with other team members to create visually appealing displays and promotions.
11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, safety, and inventory management.
12. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction by seeking and implementing feedback from customers and management.
13. Attend training sessions and stay updated on new products and promotions.
14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive light.
15. Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
