  3. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, imaging studies, and endoscopies.
  4. Provide accurate and timely diagnoses and treatment plans based on test results and patient needs.
  5. Consult with other specialists and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  6. Perform procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies with precision and care.
  7. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Gastroenterology: This Is A Requirement For Any Gastroenterology Job At Piedmont Healthcare. Candidates Must Be Board-Certified In Gastroenterology By The American Board Of Internal Medicine.

  • Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution: Candidates Must Have A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution And Have Completed A Residency In Internal Medicine.

  • Active Medical License In The State Of Georgia: Candidates Must Have An Active Medical License In The State Of Georgia Or Be Eligible To Obtain One Prior To Starting The Job.

  • Prior Experience In Gastroenterology: Piedmont Healthcare Prefers Candidates With Prior Experience In Gastroenterology, Including Clinical Experience And Research Experience.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Candidates Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Colleagues, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Explain Complex Medical Information To Patients In An Understandable Manner.
