
Front Office Assistant, Outpatient Rheumatology

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar for the Outpatient Rheumatology department.
- Verify patient insurance and demographic information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collect and process patient payments, including copays and outstanding balances.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the waiting area and front desk.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns, escalating to the appropriate department or individual when necessary.
- Continuously strive to provide excellent customer service and patient satisfaction.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Ideal Candidate For A Front Office Assistant Position At Piedmont Healthcare Should Possess A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
