Job Description

  1. Develop personalized exercise plans for patients with cardiac conditions based on their individual needs and capabilities.
  2. Conduct initial assessments and regular follow-ups to monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their exercise plans.
  3. Provide education and support to patients to help them understand and manage their cardiac conditions.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patients' exercise plans, progress, and any changes in their condition.
  6. Stay current with the latest research and developments in exercise physiology and cardiac care to continuously improve patient care.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean exercise environment for patients, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  9. Monitor patients' vital signs and blood pressure during exercise sessions to ensure their safety.
  10. Build and maintain positive relationships with patients to encourage and motivate them in their journey towards improved health and well-being.
  11. Collaborate with insurance companies and assist patients with insurance claims related to their exercise plans.
  12. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
  14. Conduct research and participate in community outreach and education programs to promote cardiac health and raise awareness about the benefits of exercise for cardiac patients.
  15. Serve as a role model for healthy living and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Cardiac Exercise Physiologist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Current Certification From The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm) As A Certified Exercise Physiologist (Ep-C) Or Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Cep).

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathophysiology.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Educate Patients On Exercise And Cardiac Health.
