1. Assist in preparing and setting up the endoscopy suite for procedures.
2. Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
3. Sterilize and maintain endoscopy instruments and equipment.
4. Provide support to the endoscopist during procedures.
5. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the endoscopist.
6. Assist with patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
7. Handle and dispose of specimens according to established protocols.
8. Maintain accurate documentation and records of procedures.
9. Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment.
10. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive experience.
12. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve technical skills.
13. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
