  • Monitor and record heart activity for patients using EKG equipment
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of EKG readings
  • Notify medical staff of any abnormalities or changes in heart activity
  • Maintain and troubleshoot EKG equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Adhere to established protocols and procedures for EKG monitoring
  • Collaborate with medical team to ensure appropriate patient care based on EKG readings
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
  • Stay up-to-date on current technology and techniques related to EKG monitoring
  • Assist with training and educating new EKG monitor technicians
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Ekg Monitoring: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Certification In Ekg Monitoring From An Accredited Institution.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Rhythms: A Thorough Understanding Of Cardiac Rhythms And The Ability To Accurately Identify And Interpret Abnormalities Is Essential For This Role.

  • Experience In Ekg Monitoring: Previous Experience In Ekg Monitoring, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting, Is Required For This Position.

  • Attention To Detail: Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Maintain Accurate And Detailed Records Is Crucial For This Role.

  • Communication Skills: Effective Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Important For Interacting With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment.
