  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the overall performance and efficiency of laboratory services.
  2. Oversee and manage a team of laboratory professionals, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards for laboratory operations.
  4. Monitor and analyze laboratory metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration and coordination of laboratory services.
  6. Manage and allocate resources effectively to maintain cost-efficient operations.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and best practices in laboratory services to drive continuous improvement.
  8. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all laboratory staff.
  9. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of laboratory supplies and equipment.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the laboratory and other departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  11. Develop and enforce policies and protocols to maintain quality control and ensure accurate and timely test results.
  12. Provide leadership and mentorship to laboratory staff, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and teamwork.
  13. Prepare and present reports on laboratory operations and performance to senior management.
  14. Manage and allocate budget resources to meet financial goals and objectives.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of laboratory services.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Organization.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Current Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt) From A Recognized Accrediting Agency (E.g. Ascp, Amt).

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Laboratory Operations, Quality Assurance, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Innovative Strategies To Improve Laboratory Efficiency, Accuracy, And Overall Performance.
