As the Director of Critical Care, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations and delivery of critical care services at our facilities.   1. Oversee the operations of critical care services at all Piedmont Healthcare facilities.
  2. Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care for critical care patients.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  4. Provide leadership and guidance to critical care staff, including training and development opportunities.
  5. Monitor and analyze patient outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance patient care.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to critical care services.
  7. Manage budget and resources for critical care services, including equipment and supplies.
  8. Act as a liaison between critical care staff and other departments within the organization.
  9. Foster a culture of excellence and teamwork within the critical care department.
  10. Stay current on developments and advancements in critical care nursing and implement best practices within the department.
  11. Serve as a mentor and role model to staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  12. Handle any patient or staff concerns or issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
  13. Collaborate with hospital administration to develop and achieve critical care department goals and objectives.
  14. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports related to critical care services.
  15. Participate in meetings and committees related to critical care nursing and hospital operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Healthcare Field. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In A Critical Care Setting, With At Least 3 Years In A Managerial Or Supervisory Role.

  • Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Georgia.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing A Multi-Disciplinary Team.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations, Quality Improvement, And Evidence-Based Practice Related To Critical Care.
