- Measure patients accurately and precisely to determine appropriate compression garment size and fit.
- Educate patients on the benefits and proper use of compression garments.
- Assess patient needs and make recommendations for specific compression garments based on individual conditions.
- Maintain a clean and organized fitting room area.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper care and treatment for patients.
- Keep accurate records of patient measurements and orders.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide excellent customer service.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in compression fitting.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of compression garments.
- Collaborate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations and process claims.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

High School Diploma Or Ged: A Compression Fitter At Piedmont Healthcare Should Have A Minimum Educational Qualification Of A High School Diploma Or Ged.
Certification In Compression Fitting: Candidates Should Have A Certification In Compression Fitting From A Recognized Institution.
Knowledge Of Medical Equipment: Applicants Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Equipment Used In Compression Fitting, Including Machines, Tools, And Supplies.
Experience In Compression Fitting: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Compression Fitting, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Compression Fitter Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Colleagues, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
