We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team at Newnan Pediatrics FMP. In this role, you will work alongside a team of compassionate healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our pediatric patients.   1. Assist with patient check-in process, including verifying insurance and collecting necessary paperwork.
  2. Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for their appointments.
  3. Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
  4. Administer vaccines and medications under the direction of a physician.
  5. Perform basic lab tests, such as urine tests and throat cultures.
  6. Communicate with patients and their families in a caring and compassionate manner.
  7. Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
  8. Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
  9. Assist physicians with procedures and treatments.
  10. Provide patient education and answer any questions or concerns.
  11. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  13. Attend trainings and educational opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and advancements in pediatric care.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  15. Uphold the values and mission of Piedmont Healthcare.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Certification From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients Of All Ages And Their Families.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Equipment Commonly Used In A Pediatric Office.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
