Job Description

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Manager for our Pre-Op and Preadmission Testing department. In this role, you will oversee the clinical operations of our preoperative and preadmission testing areas, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.   1. Oversee the clinical operations of the Pre-Op and Preadmission Testing department.
  2. Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients by monitoring and evaluating clinical practices and protocols.
  3. Lead and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote efficient and effective operations.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare leaders to identify and address areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  6. Maintain a safe and positive work environment for staff and patients.
  7. Monitor department budgets and expenses to ensure optimal use of resources.
  8. Utilize clinical expertise and knowledge to make informed decisions and solve complex problems.
  9. Provide ongoing education and training to staff to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  10. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning within the department.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the department and other healthcare departments and stakeholders.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support department operations.
  13. Stay updated on industry developments, trends, and regulations to ensure compliance and enhance department practices.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations and set goals and objectives for staff to promote professional growth and development.
  15. Ensure all department activities and procedures are in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's mission, vision, and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Georgia.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Pre-Operative Or Preadmission Testing Setting.

  • Previous Management Or Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pre-Operative And Preadmission Testing Protocols, Procedures, And Equipment.
