  1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Pre-Op department at Piedmont Healthcare.
  2. Lead and develop a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
  3. Monitor and maintain departmental budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  4. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure smooth and seamless patient care across all areas of the organization.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements related to the Pre-Op department.
  6. Implement and maintain policies and procedures to promote a safe and efficient work environment for staff and patients.
  7. Develop and maintain positive relationships with physicians, staff, and patients to foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for staff.
  9. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in healthcare management to continually improve department performance.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the Pre-Op department and other departments within the organization, as well as external stakeholders such as vendors and community partners.
  11. Act as a resource and support for staff, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
  12. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes for the Pre-Op department and Piedmont Healthcare as a whole.
  13. Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, and ensure all staff members do the same.
  14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and actively seek out opportunities to enhance departmental processes and procedures.
  15. Adhere to all Piedmont Healthcare policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field

  • Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Georgia

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Perioperative Nursing

  • Previous Management Or Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory And Accreditation Standards Related To Perioperative Services, Such As Joint Commission And Cms Regulations.
