  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Operating Room department, including managing staff schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, and addressing any operational issues that may arise.
  2. Ensure the highest quality of patient care by monitoring and evaluating patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
  3. Lead and develop a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and within budgetary constraints.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, standards, and best practices, and ensure compliance within the OR department.
  7. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
  8. Serve as a liaison between the OR department and other departments, communicating any issues or concerns and promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  9. Assist in the recruitment and hiring process for new staff members, ensuring a highly skilled and qualified team.
  10. Act as a resource for staff, providing support and guidance in the resolution of complex cases and clinical situations.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License In The State Of Georgia

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role In An Operating Room Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures And Equipment
