- Oversee the daily operations of the Operating Room department.
- Ensure high-quality patient care by implementing and maintaining clinical protocols and procedures.
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with physicians, staff, and other departments.
- Monitor and manage the department budget and resources.
- Implement and maintain safety and infection control measures in the OR.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve department efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Evaluate and address any issues or concerns raised by patients or staff.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices in the OR department.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For A Clinical Manager- Operating Room Position At Piedmont Healthcare. This Degree Provides The Foundational Knowledge And Skills Necessary For Managing A Team Of Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Operating Room Environment.
Active Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess An Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Georgia. This Is A Legal Requirement To Practice Nursing And Is Necessary To Oversee The Clinical Operations Of The Operating Room At Piedmont Healthcare.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Operating Room Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In An Operating Room Setting. This Experience Should Include A Variety Of Surgical Procedures And The Ability To Manage Complex Patient Care Situations.
Leadership And Management Skills: A Clinical Manager- Operating Room At Piedmont Healthcare Should Possess Strong Leadership And Management Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate, Delegate Tasks, And Motivate A Team Of Healthcare Professionals To Provide High-Quality Patient Care.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Standards: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Operating Room Procedures And Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Infection Control, Safety Protocols, And Other Guidelines Set Forth By Governing Bodies Such As Osha And The Joint Commission.
