  1. Develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum for clinical lab science program.
  2. Provide instruction and mentoring to students in various areas of clinical lab science, including medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and safety protocols.
  3. Create a supportive and engaging learning environment for students.
  4. Assess student progress and provide feedback on areas of improvement.
  5. Collaborate with other instructors and healthcare professionals to ensure program content is current and aligned with industry standards.
  6. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and evaluations.
  8. Serve as a role model and mentor for students, promoting professionalism and ethical conduct in the laboratory setting.
  9. Stay current on advancements and changes in the field of clinical lab science and incorporate them into instruction.
  10. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols in the laboratory setting.
  11. Communicate effectively with program coordinators, colleagues, and students regarding program updates, changes, and expectations.
  12. Attend faculty meetings and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  13. Foster an inclusive and diverse learning environment, promoting cultural competency and sensitivity.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards students, colleagues, and the profession of clinical lab science.
  15. Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working As A Clinical Lab Scientist In A Hospital Or Reference Lab Setting.

  • Current Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt) From A Recognized Certifying Agency (Ascp, Amt, Aab, Etc.).

  • Experience Teaching In A Clinical Laboratory Science Program Or Providing Training To Laboratory Staff.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Teach And Mentor Students And Laboratory Staff.
