- Provide instruction and hands-on training to students in surgical techniques, instrumentation, and equipment.

- Serve as a mentor and role model for students, promoting professionalism and ethical conduct.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and healthcare professionals to enhance the learning experience for students.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in surgical technology and incorporate new techniques and procedures into the curriculum.

- Prepare students for certification exams and assist with job placement after graduation.
- Serve as a liaison between the surgical technology program and other departments within Piedmont Healthcare.
- Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge of the field.
Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Credential From The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa).
Bachelor's Degree In Surgical Technology Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience As A Surgical Technologist In An Acute Care Setting.
Demonstrated Experience And Knowledge In Surgical Procedures, Equipment, And Instrumentation.
Strong Communication And Teaching Skills, With Experience In Developing And Delivering Educational Programs And Materials.
