
Clinical Coordinator

- Oversee and coordinate all clinical activities within the healthcare organization.
- Ensure the highest level of quality and care for patients through effective management and supervision of clinical staff.
- Lead and support a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and other clinical staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical operations.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment plans.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Serve as a resource for clinical staff, providing guidance and support in complex cases.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new clinical staff.

- Stay current on industry developments and best practices in healthcare management.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal care.

Relevant Education And Certification: A Clinical Coordinator At Piedmont Healthcare Should Have A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Healthcare-Related Field, Such As Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or Public Health. They Should Also Have A Valid Clinical Certification, Such As A Registered Nurse (Rn) License.
Experience In A Clinical Setting: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting Is Required For This Role, With A Preference For Experience In A Leadership Or Management Position. This Includes Experience In Coordinating And Supervising Staff, Managing Patient Care, And Implementing Quality Improvement Initiatives.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Clinical Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Communicating With A Variety Of Individuals, Including Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. As Such, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Organizational And Time Management Abilities: The Clinical Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Day-To-Day Operations Of The Clinical Department, Including Scheduling, Staffing, And Managing Resources. Therefore, Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills Are Necessary To Ensure The Smooth Functioning Of The Department.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies: The Clinical Coordinator Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations, Policies, And Procedures, Including Hipaa, Osha, And Other Relevant Guidelines. They Should Also Stay Up-To-Date With Industry Trends And Changes In Regulations To Ensure Compliance And Promote The Highest Standards Of Patient Care.
