Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assisting Program: A Certified Medical Assistant At Piedmont Healthcare Should Have Completed An Accredited Medical Assisting Program, Which Includes Comprehensive Training In Both Administrative And Clinical Skills.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Credential: The Candidate Should Hold A Valid Cma Credential From A Recognized Certifying Body Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The American Medical Technologists (Amt).
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures, Including Experience With Electronic Medical Records And Medical Coding.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Certified Medical Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Interacting With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis.
