- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and instruments.

Completion Of A Recognized Medical Assistant Program: Candidates Must Have Completed An Accredited Medical Assistant Program, Which Includes Coursework In Anatomy, Medical Terminology, And Clinical Procedures.
Current Medical Assistant Certification: Candidates Must Hold A Current Medical Assistant Certification From A Recognized Organization Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The American Medical Technologists (Amt).
Experience In A Clinical Setting: Preferably, Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Physician's Office. This Experience Should Include Performing Basic Medical Procedures And Maintaining Patient Records.
Knowledge Of Electronic Health Records (Ehr): In Today's Healthcare Industry, Proficiency In Using Electronic Health Records Is Essential. Candidates Should Possess Knowledge And Experience In Using Ehr Systems To Document Patient Information Accurately And Efficiently.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Certified Medical Assistant, Candidates Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Interact With Patients And Healthcare Professionals Effectively. They Should Also Be Able To Demonstrate Empathy, Compassion, And Professionalism In Their Interactions With Patients.
