  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment to capture images of the heart and surrounding structures.
  2. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and high-quality images are obtained.
  3. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, obtaining medical history, and answering any questions or concerns.
  4. Position patients correctly and adjust equipment settings to obtain optimal images.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to evaluate images and provide accurate and timely reports.
  6. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  7. Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advances in technology and techniques in the field of cardiac sonography.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and protocols.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge.
  11. Assist with training and mentoring new staff members and students.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job performance.
  15. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and customer service.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Completion Of An Accredited Cardiac Sonography Program.

  • Ardms Or Cci Certification In Adult Or Pediatric Echocardiography.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Disease Processes.
