  1. Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients using advanced equipment and techniques.
  2. Obtain and record patient history and pertinent medical information to assist in accurate diagnosis.
  3. Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret ultrasound images.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  6. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions or complications during procedures.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  8. Stay updated on advancements and changes in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  9. Provide education and support to patients regarding procedures and answer any questions or concerns.
  10. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering necessary supplies for the ultrasound department.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  12. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients and their families.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
  14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
  15. Maintain a positive and respectful working relationship with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathophysiology.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Cardiac Sonographer In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Proficient In Operating And Maintaining Ultrasound Equipment, As Well As Analyzing And Interpreting Results.
